Thanks to Lark!  Episode 11 ~ Transcendence (continued) : He tells her he is going far, far, away, but not as far as her, takes her hand, and upon seeing the blade flash, he kisses her hand reverently, then alerts her to the danger; Sara and Gabriel disappear quickly, leaving the camera equipment behind. Dante and his posse come up the stairs, and they find Nottingham. Dante offers up an ultimatum, tell him where Sara is, or get out of the way of the White Bulls, he's sure Nottingham knows where she is, because wherever Sara is, Ian is never far. Ian says there is a third option, and Dante is exasperated, WHAT is the option? Nottingham reaches under his coat as though he's drawing a weapon: while Sara watches from the shadows, Dante shoots to kill, but instead of weapons, Ian spreads in arms Christ-like, and Dante empties his clip into Nottingham. As he falls, Sara hears Ian's last thought, "If ever you see me again, Sara - run." She mouths, "No!" desperately as Orlinsky fires a final shot, and Nottingham dies. Dante orders the bulls to find Sara, she must be in the building, then calls Irons to report Nottingham is dead... but Irons already knows! Dante makes a lame excuse; they were chasing Sara and Ian was protecting her, but Irons is short, he doesn't care, bring Ian's remains, keep his head chilled, bring him personally. Irons hangs up and calls down to Dr. Immo in his lab, he needs another injection, and the doctor says there is no more of Sara's blood, he needs to get more or he will rapidly age. Sara and Gabriel run, Gabriel tells Sara he saw the gauntlet, what is it? Sara is surprised, no one has ever actually seen it, except for people no one would believe. Gabriel keeps asking questions, he is confused and upset, as is Sara. Gabriel decides he's going to get them passports and money and they can leave. Sara says no, she won't go, but Gabriel argues he won't leave without her. Irons eats while Dr. Immo repeats he needs more of Sara's blood. Irons is enigmatic, they will get the blood the same way they got it before, what is the doctor afraid of, even he has admitted "He' is even better than his predecessor" and the doctor says uncomfortably he is concerned about 'his' aggression level. Sara concedes to Gabriel, okay, get her a passport. As they turn to go their separate ways, Gabriel says he didn't like Nottingham, but he is sorry; Sara's eyes well up and she says she can't believe he's dead. Irons finishes his meal and calls out to Ian, who appears on the balcony overlooking the study: a new Ian with a tiny goatee and a glassy gleam in his eyes [very doll-like eyes they are, too, Kudos to Eric, he was scary!]. He greets Irons and the doctor as he comes down, and Irons appears pleased at his appearance.  Sara climbs aboard a bus, blindly watching the streets pass as she remembers Nottingham, protecting her, confronting her, telling her he loves her; Danny teases her affectionately, and she talks to him while a woman across the aisle hears her talking to 'herself' and shakes her head. They pass the Rialto, and both Sara and Danny become quiet. They recall Gallo getting out of his car with his boys, and Danny's death, and Sara starts to cry, she wishes things were different. She asks Danny if she can trust Jake McCarty, and Danny tells her no one's actions can be predicted until the critical moment. Irons and the doctor ask Ian v2.0 how he feels, and Ian replies, "Restless." He recounts he no recall of his past, he thinks he has been asleep for some time, and his primary mission is to protect Irons, because Irons gave him life; and then Sara Pezzini, the wielder of the Witchblade. Irons queries, does he know what she looks like, and v2.0 closes his eyes, he can see her clearly. Irons asks what he knows, and v2.0 says there were others before him, his predecessor was emotionally weak, he became useless, this cost his life, but v2.0 has some of v1.0's memories. Irons asks does v2.0 feels capable of retrieving Sara, and he replies he feels capable of anything. He asks does he have the proper tools, and v2.0 looks over at the doctor, then looks at his hand (the same hand which v1.0 had pricked to make his blood oath to Sara over Conchobar's body): the glint in his eye is fanatic and Irons sends him off to fetch  her. Sara meets Jake in his car under a bridge, Dante almost caught her and Gabriel; Jake says Dante sent him to a homicide scene, didn't say they were trying to sting Sara. She tells Jake Nottingham died saving her life: Jake looks less than sad. Sara says get her alone with Dante, she will get Dante to admit enough to put him in the chair. Jake says meet him at a safe house at 11 Richard Street, he'll have a crew there at dawn to set up Dante, and Sara says meet her there in an hour. She leaves, passing Waldo. Gabriel has been tailing her. Irons tells Dante to drop the case against Sara, Dante alternately says even if he drops the case, she'll self-destruct. Irons isn't paying attention, he looks at pictures of Ian v1.0 absently. Jake calls Dante, he's got a meet with Sara in an hour, Dante says he'll meet Jake alone, and Jake comments he figured Dante would want to be the trigger-man... Gabriel has picked it up on his monitor Irons says, "As you lay dying Bruno, remember this... I warned you." Dante is smug as he leaves. Gabriel watches Jake leave, then turns, only to be confronted by Danny! Danny tells Gabriel to trust Jake, all is not what it seems. Gabriel is confused, who is this guy? Danny says he is a friend of Sara's... and his. Gabriel says he does not trust Jake, he starts to leave, but when he looks back, Danny is gone. Jake brings Sara in the safe house, she asks if he's sure the guys are there, Jake assures her they are there, they are not supposed to be visible to anyone. She's more concerned they be invisible to Dante. Jake offers her a gun, and says she may need it at a critical moment: Sara stops at Jake's echo of Danny and refuses. Jake and Sara have a melodramatic scene as Dante comes in, she's mad he's giving her money to get out of town, and Jake says his timing sucks, but he's in love with her. Dante is amused, bursting in, he says he's in love with her, too! Sara starts to run, but Jake stops her in her tracks, she can't get away, and Sara becomes terrified, Jake is her partner, she trusted him! Jake is cocky as he joins Dante, and Sara says he'll be doing her a favor if he kills her; first: just tell her why he killed her father? Dante says because he didn't like Jim Pezzini, he was always looking at Dante like he knew more than anyone else, he had an attitude like he had x-ray vision, he could see right through him, and Sara says that's a fine reason to kill someone. Dante says she has the same attitude, even though everyone knows she was adopted, there's no doubt who raised her, and Sara is proud as she thanks him. Then Dante tells Jake to kill Sara, and Jake takes aim, but Sara tells Dante he doesn't "have the stones" to do it himself, and Jake pulls back to ask if Dante wouldn't like to do it himself; Dante refuses, he wants Jake to do it, they'll be bonded for a lifetime by her death... and Jake has to refuse. Dante says Jake's options are simple, kill Sara or both of them will die - and Orlinsky enters, he would prefer that. Dante asks if Orlinsky checked the perimeter, he tells Jake he was sure Jake was a fed, but Jake let his emotions get hold of him, not something a fed would do; Dante aims for Sara and the FBI breaks through the wall. Dante and Orlinsky lower their weapons in surrender and Jake lowers his, but Dante has not let go: he feints, Sara sees him and grabs Jake's gun and they pull the trigger together. A White Bull shell casing falls to the floor. Dante lays dying, he tells Sara her aim is worse than her father's ever was, but he was just following orders. Sara demands he tell her whose orders, and on touching him, the blade shows her Irons shaking hands with young Bruno Dante.
