Sara turns Bostwick over to Officer McGrath, who recognizes her, he says Dante wants her brought in for questioning, and Sara says it's not going to happen; if he wants to bring her in, he'll have to shoot her: in the back - she walks away. Ian holds Irons steady as the doctor injects his eye with the blood from the handkerchief. Irons gasps as his youth is restored. He is excited, the doctor is amazed, and what is left of Elizabeth Bronte watches from behind. Irons puts a comforting arm around a heart-sick Ian, he tells Ian he understands what he tried to do, but he needs Ian to help, "My life is in your hands." Jake finds Sara in a homeless alleyway, Lars Bankstrom is dead, Charlene has disappeared, Gabriel is underground, and the White Bulls took his bullet. Sara is frustrated, she's right back where she started, and Jake shows her his other badge: he's FBI. He was put on the force to bring down the White Bulls. He says he has to hide her, too, but Sara refuses, she owes Joe Siri and her father, and Jake is pleased, he hoped she would say that. Danny tells Sara, "Parallel lines always meet," and she walks off with Jake, hopeful again, as Danny watches them go apprehensively. ********** Lark also included a description of the 'missing' scene [shuddering as she wrote it!] from Convergence, viewable on www.witchbladetv.com, which should have been right after Jake and Sara's meeting by the alley, and before Ian brings the bloody handkerchief back to Irons: Irons rolls into the frozen tomb, talking to Elizabeth Bronte, he always admired everything about her, especially her hands: he remembers the first time he saw her, her hands were the first thing he loved about her, she was playing the piano. He feels shamed to desecrate her this way, and he unties a ribbon on her sleeve, then picks up the surgical saw... and Ian walks in with the handkerchief. |

| Thanks to Lark! Episode 11 ~ Transcendence: [Note from Lark: OK: For those of you not in the loop, I got hit with a virus last week which fried my home network as well as my modem, and until everything is fixed (sigh) I can only communicate with the site from work. And - vent, vent, vent - my daughter "accidently" recorded over 'Transcendence', unaware that I'd only written half the synopsis at the time. So... I give you what I had written... and what I remember... ] Sara and Gabriel are in an empty warehouse making a video which names the White Bulls for what and who they are. Sara is apprehensive about getting this publicized quickly, but Gabriel reassures her it's going on the internet immediately, the popularity of the site will surpass Napster. Ian drops his coat and brandishes a samurai sword to Irons in his study, and Irons sardonically comments, "How dramatic!" Ian presents the sword, offering his life because he cannot serve both Sara and Kenneth Irons; he offers Irons the chance to kill him first because Irons gave him life, and demonstrates his willingness to kill himself if Irons will not do it for him: he would consider it mercy if Irons did. Bowing before his master, Ian clasps his leg, submissive to the last. Irons cruelly refuses, he is not a merciful man, and he has decided to throw Ian away "into the darkness". Sara watches the video, unsure if showing it on the internet will hurt her credibility with the FBI, but Gabriel trusts Jake since Jake saved his life. However, Gabriel has a cell-ripper to monitor Jake's cell phone calls, and he smiles at Sara: Jake hasn't said anything incriminating. They continue recording, but through the viewer Gabriel sees Ian behind Sara, and shouts a warning. Sara turns to Nottingham and the gauntlet forms as Gabriel watches in astonishment, but immediately releases. Ian tells Sara he is leaving, and he only came to say goodbye. Continued on next page |
