10/12/06 ~ Medium Returns Wednesdays NBC will bring back its Emmy-winning hit supernatural drama Medium in a new timeslot, the 10 p.m. Wednesday slot vacated by the new, low-rated serial Kidnapped, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Medium, starring Patricia Arquette, will take over the slot by mid-November, the trade paper reported; NBC declined to comment on the report to the trade paper. (Kidnapped will move to Saturdays.) SCI FI Wire
6/26/06 ~ Patricia Arquette, Thomas Jane Get Married Emmy-winning Medium star Patricia Arquette tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, actor Thomas Jane, this past weekend, the actress's rep tells PEOPLE. "It was a small, intimate celebration with close family," says Arquette's spokesperson. They were wed at the Palazzo Contarini in Venice, Italy. The couple first became engaged in 2002 and have a 3-year-old daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope. This is the second marriage for both. Jane, 37, was previously married to actress Aysha Hauer, the daughter of Rutger Hauer. The actor's credits include roles in The Punisher, Under Suspicion and Magnolia.
Arquette, 38, has a 17-year-old son, Enzo, from a relationship with musician Paul Rossi. She was also wed to Nicolas Cage, though nine months after their 1995 wedding they reportedly separated, only to continue appearing in public together as a couple. In 1996, two months after their split, lawyers drew up legal separation papers for the Cages, though their divorce was not finalized until 1998. PEOPLE Magazine by Stephen M. 2/6/06 ~ Patricia Arquette's older brother, Richmond, appeared in the episode that aired tonight, A Changed Man, as the man she met in the doctor's office after she hit her head, literally, the changed man. According to TVGuide.com Patricia was excited to work with a sibling, and is "campaigning to convince the rest of the acting Arquettes — including sister Rosanna, brother David and sister-in-law Courteney Cox — to make time for Medium as well. "I'm hoping they'll do me the favor at one point or another," she says. "The best actors I know are in my family.""
1/21/06 ~ Lifetime has aqcuired the exclusive basic cable rights from Paramount Television to air Medium starting in 2009. When making the announcement, Susanne Daniels, President, Entertainment, Lifetime Entertainment Services, said, "I love the way Glenn Gordon Caron has created a show that integrates the contemporary struggles of the modern working mother with such compelling psychic mysteries.
