4/4/09 ~ Unfotunately, as you can see from the last news item date to the left, I haven't been updating this site. I adopted a child and became a single parent last year, and quite frankly, stopped watching a lot of 'prime time' television, including Medium ~ I haven't watched a single episode this season. I am not going to take this site down, because it is a great show, and I did do a lot of work on the site. Unfortunately, I've lost so much time with the show, I really don't think I can do it justice right now, but I do hope to 'catch-up' and update the site in the future. I hate going to sites that obviously haven't been updated forever, so I wanted to address this. Thanks for coming by, and please check out the other sites in the SolitaryPhoenix domain, and the message board; if I start updating this site again, I will note it there as well.

Patricia Arquette may play a clairvoyant on NBC's Medium, but neither she nor co-star Jake Weber ever saw the show lasting so long: Season five kicks off tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT with the episode "Soul Survivor." And this year, one of them goes behind the camera for the first time.

Medium returned for its fifth season Monday, Feb. 2 with an appropriately ghostly murder mystery.... Future episodes will mark a shift in how Allison (Patricia Arquette) "sees" things (look for a True Blood star to guest), as the line between the corporeal and ethereal worlds is blurred. On the homefront, Joe's got a sweet new job, Ariel's teen years are ready to rear their ugly head and Bridgette is drawing naked pictures in art class. TVGuide.com listened in as Arquette and her TV hubby, Jake Weber, bickered like a real married couple, along the way teaching us the difference between a psychic and a medium, how they keep the show — and their TV marriage — fresh, and who their dream cast would include.

Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce from her actor-husband.
Arquette filed for divorce from Thomas Jane in Los Angeles on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple, who were married in May 2006, have a 5-year-old daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane.
