Lost Fans Party For Charity
Fans of ABC's SF series Lost will again gather in Los Angeles in March for the Lost Weekend, a party that raises money for charity. The party, which takes place at the Hollywood Rennaissance Hotel March 30-April 1, is similar to but different from two previous fan galas that also benefited the Children's Defense Fund-California, Lost co-creator J.J. Abrams' favorite charity. The main party kicks off at 8 p.m. on Saturday night and will include a silent auction of memorabilia donated by Lost cast, crew members and fans, as well as merchandise from Creation, Inkworks, McFarlane Toys and TDC Games. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Children's Defense Fund-California. Previous Lost fan parties raised as much as $5,000 for the CDF and were attended by Lost producers, writers and actors. The Lost Weekend is sponsored by Lost Radio and the Fuselage fan posting board.
