| 11/1/2007 - from now on, I'll be putting a blurb on the main page, then linking news stories back to the original source instead ot copying the whole story and posting it. If I find a good article or interview with an actor, I'll post it and put a link on their page. The items that I already have posted here will remain up, unless there is no activity on them. 6/15/07 || Lost Mom Plays Ball 6/14/07 || Lost Won't End 'With A Blackout' 6/13/07 || Lost Going Cellular 6/1/07 || Lost Star Discovers the World of Marco Polo 5/24/07 || Sorry, Charlie: Lost Star Wanted to "Die" a Hero 5/23/07 || Lost Exec on Last Night's Big Death: "It Was Painful" 5/15/07 || Less Lost Sleep in '08 5/11/07 || 28 Weeks Later: Lost's Michael Resurfaces! 5/7/07 || Lost End Is In Sight: The Year 2010 4/19/07 || Racer X Marks the Spot for Fox 4/16/07 || Lost Lass Lands Thriller Role 4/11/07 || Elizabeth Mitchell Teases a "Twisty, Turny" Lost 4/2/07 || Lost Fans Dramatically Divided Over a Double Death 3/28/07 || Lost's Michael Emerson Ponders Ben's End Game 3/28/07 || Andrews: Lost Mulls January Start 3/22/07 || A Little Something LOST: SCI FI Wire || ABC Picks Lost Up For Year 4 || ABC on March 21 announced that it has renewed Lost for a fourth season, even as its ratings have slipped from the previous year. The announcement was made by ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson at the March Development Meeting in Los Angeles. Lost has seen its ratings drop after returning with new episodes following several weeks of hiatus and staking out a new Wednesday 10 pm ET/PT timeslot. Even so, ABC reported that Lost holds the top slot in its time period for the third consecutive season among adults aged 18-49. In its new timeslot, it is the top series on any network. It's unclear whether ABC will follow its strategy this season of airing six original episodes, then breaking for 13 weeks and resuming the season with an unbroken run of original episodes in the late winter. 3/16/07 || A Little Something LOST: ZAP2it || Lost Co-Star Gets New Life on CBS || Cynthia Watros, late of Lost, has signed on to co-star with Marisa Tomei in a CBS comedy pilot. Watros, who played the ill-fated Libby last season on Lost, will be the best friend to the titular brilliant writer (Tomei) in The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud. This is Watros' second straight development season at CBS. Last spring, the Titus vet was cast in the network's pilot The Ex-Life, giving the first indication that Libby wasn't long for the Lost island. That pilot never made it to air, but Libby has yet to return from the dead. 3/7/07 || Monaghan Sells The Dead 3/5/07 || Genre Producers Distance Themselves From Lost |

An unlocked video detailed how a mathematician was commissioned by the United Nations in 1962 to calculate the timetable for humanity’s extinction. The resulting Valenzetti’s Equation was based on factors represented by Egyptian hieroglyphics, each of which was assigned a numerical value: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42, aka what would become Hurley’s cursed digits. Though the Hanso Foundation created the Dharma Initiative to stave off the forecast apocalypse, the foundation’s impatient acting president Dr. Thomas Mittelwerk is itching to unleash a virus that will snuff 30 percent of the world’s population. Fans who followed the Experience may someday experience déjà vu when watching Lost on TV. Says Michael Benson, senior vice president of marketing for ABC: “There’s no reason [the Experience’s events] can’t be integrated into the program.” 9/5/06 || Lost's Eko Popped for Vehicle Violation 8/31/06 || A Little Something LOST: TVGuide.com || Lost Star Finds Three Film Roles || Perhaps indicating that Michael and Walt actually were able to sail away from the isle, Harold Perrineau has landed a trip of big-screen gigs: 28 Weeks Later (the follow-up to 28 Days Later), as a special forces pilot; Your Name Here, playing Richard Roundtree in the biopic of sci-fi author Philip K. | 4/25/06 || AP || Michelle Rodriguez, who plays ex-cop Ana Lucia, started a five-day jail stay today, arriving at Kaneohe District Court, Kaneohe, Hawaii, carrying three books and dressed in a tank top, hooded sweatshirt, and sweatpants. She and fellow tailie, Cynthia Watros [Libby], were pulled over in separate cars, minutes apart, on December 1, 2005; both were charged with drunken driving. Rodriguez, who has been pulled over for speeding, was on probation for an unrelated incident that occured in LA in 2004. She was given the choice between 240 hours community service or a $500 fine and 5-days in jail. Taking jail time was a "personal choice," according to her attorney, Steve Barta, who offered up "I would suspect that because she has a hard time even going out for a meal without being intruded upon for an autograph or photograph, it's really difficult for her to do community service." Cynthia Watros pleaded guilty to drunken driving in January and was fined $312, ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and 14 hours of counseling. She also had her license suspended for 90 days. The actress' brief stay in county lock-up will apparently not disrupt Lost's schedule, according to ABC spokesman Jeff Fordis The season finale is being filmed this week and production is scheduled to be completed by May 5th. 4/19/06 || Multiple sources || Cynthia Watros, who portrays tail-section survivor Libby, is being billed as a guest star in the CBS pilot called My Ex-Life, co-starring Tom Cavanagh (lately of Love Monkey and Ed) but this may apparently just be a contractual term. Close to Home star Jennifer Finnigan was similiarly billed last year when filming that pilot while she was still a cast member of the NBC comedy Committed. This may not bode well for Hurley's new main squeeze, who was recently revealed as having been a patient at the same mental facility he was in, although she appears different enough that he hasn't realized it. We'll have to wait a bit longer before learning if Libby isn't long for the Lost world, or if her Ex-Life will simply be a bad dream. 3/21/06 || Kim Surfaces As Sex Symbol On Lost 2/12/06 || A Day In Monaghan's Lost Life 2/11/06 || SciFIWire || In an interview at WonderCon in San Francisco J.J. Abrams, co-creator of Lost, denied that producers were planning to kill off any character because of an actor's off-screen behavior. Specifically, Abrams addressed rumors that the character of Ana Lucia would die because actress Michelle Rodriguez was arrested in December for drinking and driving, as well as being cited several times for speeding. Abrams, who was at WonderCon to promote his upcoming Mission: Impossible III, added: "There's a lot of stuff that has happened that's extracurricular, and it's in the news. It becomes fodder for speculation. The truth is that the cast is the greatest. I don't know if you saw the SAG Awards, but ... most of them, those who weren't working, were there and got up. ... You see who they are and how they are. They're an amazing group, all of them, and we're just blessed to get to work with them. " 2/1/06 || Will Hurley Get Lost in Love? |
