Naveen Andrews was born on January 17, 1969, in London, England.  He's 5'9", and is of Indian descent, not Iraqi, as Sayid is.  He has one son from a former relationship, and he's been involved with actress Barbara Hershey since 1998.  She's about 20 years older than him, but Naveen has an appreciation for older women; the mother of his oldest son, whom he moved in with when he was 18 [or 16 depending on the source], was his former math teacher, and was also some years older than he.  Naveen has another son, from a brief relationship while he and Hershey had temporarily separatedin 2005. Naveen is probably best known for his role in The English Patient, which swept the Academy Awards in 1997.
