Emilie de Ravin was born on December 27, 1981 in Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia.  She has 2 sisters, and has a dog named Bella.  Emilie studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia and with the Prime Time Actors Studio in Los Angeles.  She also studied ballet since she was 9 and she was accepted into the highly selective Australian Ballet School at age 15. She's had regular roles on television shows like Beastmaster and Roswell, as well as guest appearances on CSI: Miami,The Handler and Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service.  Emilie appearedin the television movie, Carrie, and appeared in The HIlls Have Eyes, Brick, and Santa's Slay.
